How to gain the social proofing that you need, made easy!

It’s simple. Make life easier for those who you serve and they will reward you by sharing your worth!

Here is a brilliant recommendation that a client wrote recently for me:-

'Working with Suzanne Fells was a brilliant experience. Before any photos were even taken, we talked for up to two hours on various calls. Suzanne had researched me, my business and my social media.

We discussed locations to create the right atmosphere and portray me, my business and how I work with my clients. To get the best true-to-life images for me to use. I even sent Suzanne a little walk-through of my house to see what we could use to keep costs down so I would be comfortable. Dogs were also included in our photo shoot. During the day I was given very clear instructions and also prompts to create the right expression. This could not have been achieved if the research wasn't undertaken by Suzanne. After-shoot care was another lengthy conversation about how I could use the images. The result has been a massive selection of images to choose from'.

Cath actually wrote the above as a comment on my LinkedIn post following our shoot whereby I shared a photo of her and wrote about our branding photography experienece together. Cath then responded by talking about my process, pre and post shoot. When you tag in and reach out to clients following their using your services, they respond with honesty and often from the heart. They respond in a way that they would not if they were trying to write you something more formal and ‘special’, like a recommendation.

The irony in being that the natural ‘of the moment’ response is often more genuine and connectable than a formal request to write. It is richer. It is more open.

So follow up by asking, ‘Could you please just copy that comment into a testimonial /referral for me?’ Make it easy for them. They don’t have to find the time to write something new for you. They simply just copy what they have already stated into a testimonial block that you send them via a link to their DM. You then have a rich and brilliant experience to share on your socials and also your website. As I do here. As I do via my ‘Kind words’ page.

No one says it better than your clients about what you bring to their business.

NO ONE.... 100% genuine social proofing!

Me, I can talk about the HUGE amount of pre and post shoot value that I bring to my clients for hours but when potentials, they have seen or read (from other clients) and for themselves these words are DIAMONDS!
